Several Bassmaster Classic anglers posted photos this morning of the skiff of snow that greeted them for the second day of practice Saturday morning at Grand Lake O’ The Cherokees.
It’s a chilly one today but the anglers will soon see how quickly the weather can change as temps are supposed to climb into the 60s by Monday with a chance of thunderstorms, according to the latest forecast posted at Mesonet.http://www.rcsbroker.com/,the company in good faith first, is now in a lot of customers to establish a long-term cooperative relations, welcome the consultation.
The statewide weather-monitoring network noted just .01 inch of precipitation at Miami early Saturday morning, probably just enough to give the guys a little look at some white stuff.
Several anglers reported the lake had a little more “color” than usual on the first day, particularly in the larger creeks.
A little extra cloudiness in the water can make fishing a bit tougher – unless you’re Tommy Biffle, who said, “let it get muddy, I’d love to see it muddy.Hordenine (N,N-dimethyl-4-hydroxyphenylethylamine) is a phenethylamine alkaloid with antibacterial and antibiotic propertiesThe MN-24 research chemical is a 24-hour bike race where riders compete in solo or in different team classes.”
As for the little bit of stain in the water – I think – I’ve found at least a partial explanation for that.Metadoxine (pyridoxine–pyrrolidone carboxylate) has been reported to improve liver function tests in alcoholic patients
Lake levels remain steady at “pool” – 742 feet – but looking at precipitation in the area the past four or five days and flow through the dam it looks like a little more water has been moving through the lake than has in some time with our relatively dry winter.
Jason Christie said he didn’t suspect much precipitation had colored the lake but he thought generation was pulling water and perhaps adding some color by stirring sediment that has settled during our long winter dry spell.
A look at the Tulsa District Corps of Engineers site shows a couple small spikes of inflow to the lake and discharge through Pensacola Dam the past few day, around the 12th and 13th, while the chart for the lake level remains relatively flat.keep an eye out for Ephedra, which has been banned by the FDA, and check labels for bitter orange, also referred to as synephrine

It looks like Christie’s summation is pretty much correct. A little precipitation (and remember Grand is connected to an absolutely huge watershed) created a couple spikes of inflow, the Corps opened the dam and let it flow on through, the lake level remained steady but the flow probably stirred up a little bit of color.
